Tartan
The Band wears the “Burlington Firefighters” tartan which was designed and made for this Band. The tartan incorporates the colours from the City of Burlington’s logo; yellow, green and blue. Each of those colours represents the natural environment surrounding our city; the sun, the escarpment and the water. Red is a colour that has been associated with firefighters and fire departments for years and the black represents our fallen brothers and sisters.
